Sting delivered a career-encompassing set of songs at BBC's Radio 2 in the Park event which is being held in Preston's Moor Park this weekend. Topping the bill on Saturday evening, he performed many timeless hits dating from both from his days with The Police right through to his most recent single 'I Wrote Your Name (Upon My Heart)' which was released last week. 2023: Sting performed at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, USA.

2022: Sting and Shaggy attended a Recording Academy event in Nashville, USA.

2011: Sting announced the Back To Bass autumn tour of the USA.

2003: Sting performed at the Mermaid Theatre in London where he recorded a live concert for broadcasting on BBC radio. More

2000: Sting played a huge free concert sponsored by Best Buy in New York's Central Park East Meadow. More

1999: Sting appeared on the Saturday morning children's TV program 'SMTV' in England taking part in a few sketches.

1995: Sting went to the Michelin Building, Fulham Road, London, as a guest for the Merrick Leverburg 25th anniversary. He was joined by other music-biz personalities including Bob Geldof, Mark Knopfler and Midge Ure.

1989: Sting appeared as Macheath in the '3 Penny Opera' at the National Theatre in Washington DC.

1981: Sting appeared at the Theatre Royal in London, England as part of 'The Secret Policeman's Other Ball', a benefit concert for Amnesty International.
